I scanned in in two “works” from last year, and almost got distracted by a driver malfunction. (Fortunately the silverfast driver was still working even if the Epson is not.) One of the two works is something i did on All Hallows. It needs completing, but i don’t know quite how i want to complete it. It’s supposed to evoke the archtypical mother kneeling and reaching out, in a dark landscape. The other was red & blue “waves”. I didn’t think there’d be much reason to scan in the dark stainless steel and gold ground because i didn’t think the scanner would be able to pick up the metallic highlights very well.
Last night i worked on the waves and the metallic under painting, just scribbling really, with the paints fairly translucent.
