Use washable (school) glue for a resist. I use low temp dyes or “dye paint” techniques with a glue resist and it works very well. Then, of course, you can wash out the glue.

Oh, bah, you’re awfully creative too, you know. And you do cross stitch (looking at the cat with mouse just this moment) which requires QUITE the patient hand.

So, um, do i need a experimental target?

You teeeeempt me. http://www.annjohnston.net/cbaexcerpts.html shows the result of the technique, and i plan only to work with cotton (so the jacket needs to be mainly cotton or cotton lycra maybe). What color would you be interested in?

I wish I had your patience, creativity, and innovative sense of design and flow. As it was, I went out and bought a replacement jacket.

Perhaps I could mail the jacket to you and you could experiment with it?
